Archive Sort Order Question

This is my first post, so please be kind..

I'm trying to figure out how to reverse the order in my archive. I'm trying to use Pixelpost as a daily webcomic template. I need the home page to show a new daily strip, while the archive is displayed from oldest to newest, therefore I can't use the Image Display Order in the Options admin panel.

I've searched through the forum archives and can't seem to find the answer. Other people seem to have a similar issue. I'm using Pixelpost 1.7 and the Switchy template. My programming skills are basically nil, but I can cobble my way around.

I've received some suggestions, and I thank those who responded, but I don't think I explained my situation properly. Changing the Image Display Order option in the Admin doesn't remedy my problem. If I change it to ascending, it solves my archive order, but my home page always displays the same, oldest picture.

What I'm needing is to post recent, daily pictures, but when you go to the archive, it posts from oldest to newest.

If it matters, I'm also using the Page by Page Archive add-on.
