Sky Stripes

I am getting stripes on my photos of sky, particularly sunrise/sunset photos. They do not exist in the original photo, and as far as I can tell they are not there in the smaller export photos.

I tried exporting the photos with a higher pixel density from lightroom, but it just made a larger photo that does not fit on the screen in pixelpost.

Any ideas on how to get rid of them? Thanks.

I'm exporting it as a jpg with quality of 100, the maximum. The resolution is 240 pixels/in. I tried upping the resolution to 500 pixels/in but the same length, but when the file loads in pixelpost, it just makes it bigger.
