New Template: Dark Matter

I've uploaded my new theme to the Pixelpost site.

It's right here: http://www.pixelpost.org/extend/templates/dark-matter/

Demo: http://www.i-marco.nl/photoblog/

Click 'About' on my photoblog for some more information about the theme.

This is a first release. I welcome any bug reports you may have!

Dark Matter features a very sophisticated Javascript interaction layer powered by Yahoo's YUI. Besides fixing bugs I'm currently working on the Photo Stream tab. Version 1.1 will have an AJAX thumbnail browser with which you can browse back and forth through all photos on the site.

Hey Chris, looks great man! That's some awesome black and white work you have there. It works really well with this template.

One remark: Did you forget to add the RGB Histogram plugin?

I installed it in my development area and the previous/next buttons weren't showing up. Also, you might want to remove the mint link in the footer.

Links removed. Sorry for this oversight.

For those already running the template:

Remove the line saying:

<script src="/mint/?js" type="text/javascript"></script>

from the templates. No other changes in the newly uploaded version.

Kevin: I can't reproduce the problem you describe. I also see the buttons show up on other people's sites that run the template ...

Hello,

It a wonderful template, and I love it. But I'm having some problems.

My page is having some problems, images don't load. And it seems like the javascript isn't loading at all, I'm not too sure.

Link here.

I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks!

I'm slightly baffled. It seems it's not loading the javascript.

Try changing the line:

<script src="templates/darkmatter/js/scripts-minimized.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

into

<script src="templates/darkmatter/js/scripts.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

in the templates.

Let me know how this goes!

Ok it turns out I made a dumb typo when replacing the script by a minimized version. I typed a dash in the script tag while the filename has an underscore. Therefore you can simply change scripts-minimized.js into scripts_minimized.js in the templates and it will load the minimized one.

I uploaded a zip with this issue fixed but if you change it manually in your templates there's no need to download this new zipfile.

Sorry for the trouble!
