Sounds great Rodney. I read in other posts that both Pixelpost as well as eleven2 will be making some changes in the next few weeks. If thats true is it worth waiting for or will it not make a difference?

thanks

e2 wont be changing anything that will effect how Pixelpost runs, and Pixelpost will just be releasing an update with less bugs than the current version, which is still under it's perioud of needed feedback at the moment. As long as you arnt hacking the core code upgrades are really easy to do, take about 15 minutes if you are nitpicky about reading the docs folder content, backups, and organization etc...about 5 once you know what you are doing

you'll be alright setting up your hosting and getting started now though

Thanks Blinking8s, i'll probably try it in the next week or two. I've spent the last few weeks trying to figure out what program i am going to use. First it was MT, then i decided to go to wordpress, but i think i'll try the pixelpost because i seem to like the templates that are available. I've tried Blogger but i don't think its right for a photo blog.

thanks

after this version of pixelpost is finished, we're going to work hard on new templates, its an area we have been not so active in for a while...

after 3 weeks of hosting i have now upgraded from the cheapest package to a reseller package. the whole transfer went over (almost) flawlessly, with the exception of my isp's dns servers screwing up, but that has nothing to do with eleven2. these guys are great!

i dont think e2 has a live demo at the moment but I am not really sure, but you can visit http://www.cpanel.net/ to get a cpanel demo and it's very similar to the entire system...since e2 is based on cpanel. Thats more your control end, they use their mycenter to handle your business side of the accounts and are slowly upgrading the system to a more custom format with cpanel underneath
