Database driven slideshow addon

Is it possible to develop a database driven slideshow addon. I mean an addon that displays automatic all the pictures in a specified categorie, picture by picture with a specified delay time. I think its easy to use the database for that, like the archive function does. Im not a Pixelpost PHP coding expert, but maybe someone likes the idea.

I had a slideshow which presented images from the image-folder, I do not remember by name or by random, it was not connected to the database, just went through the directory

I had it included in my page for a while, it is still "active" in one of my test-installations, http://www.bildgier.de/pp13nopopup/

I still hope someone likes to make a database driven addon. This would be a nice new functionality to Pixelpost.

By the way I love the simplicity and flexibility of Pixelpost, its great!
