two pages at once (frames)

hello,

thank you for the wonderful software. i havent seen anything like it, so clean, userfriendly and effective.

my question:
is it possible to have a two-frames page, where one frame shows the archive page and the other frame shows the main page (current)? the links in the archive page should then open in the main page.

or:
one frame shows the last 5 thumbnails and the main frame shows the rest. the thumbnails open in the main page.

if only someone could give me a push in the right direction, i would be very gratefull.

thanks by advance!
soheyla.

You could make a new frameset and include the index in one frame and the archive in the other. Then hack pixelpost to tell links from the archive page to open in the specific frame. But frames are old and useless (in my mind). I would suggest using the thumbnail_row variable and just adjusting the amount of thumbnails you want it to contain in the pixelpost options. Then find a way to work the thumbnail row into your design.

Good luck
