This adddon manages the pixelpost stats and works in coherence
with visitors table.
New tag: <ADVNCD_SITE_VISITORNUMBER> instead of <SITE_VISITORNUMBER>

This version is modified and bug fixed version of the addon which is included inside 1.4.2 initial package.

- now it summerize all enteries untill the current month whenever you enter the admin page
- it will summerize the current moth and add it into the stats table ONLY if you press the proper bottun.
- it will show correct number of visitors for current month visits.

A few questions...

Should this be used in addition to stats.php, or in place of? I'd like to use both, so I can see additional stat information, however the visitor count for stats.php matches the monthly count as shown by advanced_stat.php, not the total count. Is there a way to have the total count be factored in for "average visitors a day" and so forth?

By the way, installing this addon increased my total visitor count by 300%! Is that normal? I guess I'm not exactly sure what the difference is between these stats and the original stats. :?

I reverted to the original counter tag <SITE_VISITORNUMBER> but it returns 0 visits

read the readme file of PP1.4.2 please!! Every tag that was associated with the last stat is useless!
the visitor table is erased with this addon and summerized in a new table on monthly basis.

I know, I know it has bugs! but don't worrry about the number of visitors. you can set it to what ever you want! I'll add that to the Advance stats as soon as possible. but I'm thinking of extracting PP's stat functionality and leave users to use their own stat software. (as I do so and my independent counter shows far fewer visitor from pixelpost stat. That is because PP's stat counts the spammer and webbots as valid visitors but the professional stat systems does not do that.)

File advanced_stat.php included in 31_advanced_stat_1.1.zip says that it's version 1.0, not 1.1.

I know there are some bugs so I ma jist arising the question so you might no the flaws in the case one might be able to solve it. I am using the sitemeter.com and also checks with the advacesd add on from ramin. and they have tootally differetn feedabck. i am getting almost 40 visitors from pp but 6 from sitemeter.com. I have also Rob's antispam and spam refere loaded to remove the spams.

PP counts all visitors even the spammers and also it counts hits with after few minutes but sitemeter could count only visits.

HOw can I check the referes. I am sure that the spammer are refereign to mysite but I can not check the referer to add them to the ban list.
Any help would be nice.

I'm using this addon and it appears to accurately count site visitors. However, it shows the exact same number of visitors in both the "Number of all visitors" and "Number of visitors this month" fields. Here is the exact text that I just copied off my admin screen:

Number of all visitors: 2609 -- Number visitors this month: 2609

I set up my photoblog on October 15, 2005. It is December 2, so there is no question that these should be two different numbers(obviously if it was still the same month I set up the site than the numbers would be the same AND that would be accurate)

Also, there is no "button" under this addon in the addon panel of my Pixelpost admin page. How can I get this to return more accurate stats? I got this from the addons download page of the Pixelpost site after setting up my photoblog in October. My admin panel states I have version 1.0 installed.

Any suggestions?
