No thumbnails & a viewing question

Hi all,

I downloaded & installed PP. What an awesome script. Thanks!

I got it working no sweat, but I have a few questions.

1. When uploading images, I get no thumbnails. The directory was chmod'ed to 777, so I don't know what's wrong. Not a big deal, just wondering.

2. Is there a way to have more than one image displayed per page?

3. Every time I upload an image, that image takes over as the starting point in the photoblog. I don't want this. I want it to always start at the same image and go in sequence. Can I do this, and if so, how?

I set it up at http://www.bartlett-family.net/73crosby There is a link at the bottom of that page to start the photoblog.

Basically, the first image you see is "The house before purchase 3". There are 2 other images before that. I always want it to start at the beginning and would also like to display more images per page. How can I do all this?

Thanks for an awesome script!

Chris

mostly this is because of wrong paths in the configuration, tell us what your "general info" section in "admin" shows...

well, first of all, the idea of this script is "one image per page"
second, the idea is " the most actual at top" (otherwise you upload it with a date in the future....)

I think, this script is very nice, handy and easy, but somehow it's not the right script for you ops:

the idea is to have a photoblog with photos linked to dates, you want a static page... so maybe some template-html-files would be enough?

I have static photo-pages at http://www.zweiterblick.de, I have one big photoblog, which I stopped now, but which is still online, http://stadtbild.zweiterblick.de and I have http://www.photografitti.de where I experiment with this script

so you see there are different approaches to present images, maybe you just mixed something?
