<IMAGE_CATEGORY> Question for new addon

Still working on my new archive addon....

The search buttons up top do squat right now, but you get the general idea for what it will do eventually....

question is:

I would like to display the Categories for each image as well - like what the <IMAGE_CATEGORY> tag would do....problem is it doesn't seem to work outside of the image template. Any way to get it to work within my fancyarchive template????

I searched the forum, but didn't find anything appreciable after about 20 mins of poking around....

it's one of our goals that all tags are available in all templates, but I did not test it completely, we are working on the new version and this is on my list
