busted up truck

I have a shot of a busted up truck going up on my photoblog tomorrow and I amd wondering what others around here think of it.

look at that freaking sky! wow.... what sort of filter did you use!? can that sky really be 'en naturale'?

thanks man. I actually didn't use a filter on the shot, although I wish I had a polarizer when I took it because it would have been even better blue than what it turned out.

I shoot raw, so a lot of the adjustments happend in the raw conversion phrase. Otherwise, just some curves and selective color adjustment layers and sharpening.

i don't mind processing in photos like this. i feel this is what artisitc DIGITAL photography is about. capturing the basic image is just the start.

yeah, but there is still a fine line between processed to be artistic and over-processed...this one pushes that boundary in my opinion.

hmm. perhaps it is 'over-processed' but if you consider how dramatic it has become then at least i can forgive that. but i agree... processing should be taken up to a point.

I really don't mind the processing. In the end the product is still the result of a vision that the artist had, not something that photoshop generated on the fly.
