Moving between folders

This might be fairly easy but I thought I'd ask before I break anything:

I'd like to move my blog from, say "testing.mydomain.com" to "mydomain.com".

So at the moment the PP install is located at "/public_html/testing/" on my hosting server. I thought I'd just move the files and the rest of the directory structure to "/public_html/" and edit the necessary directory settings in the admin panel. Will it work? Need to reinstall?

It's the same host, the same database, same everything. Just moving from a subdomain to the main domain.

everything should work. But you should just set the image path. use ../images/ as the image path will give you the ability to move without any modifications.
