Nice macro shots :-) I've tried a couple of times to capture bees on the lavender in my front garden but have always been unsuccessful...mind you, I think my impatience works against me when it comes to such shots.

I notice you're a canon 350d user..? Can I ask what made you go with that camera (I know this part of the forum isn't really for that but what the hell..)? I'm a beginner and at the moment I'm happy with my Fuji s5500 as I'm still learning. But I must admit that I'm starting to look at the DSLRs (impatience again) and it's the 350d that's taking my fancy but I'm also looking at the Nikon d70s perhaps. So I'd be interested to know what sold you with the canon...reading the reviews I'm led to believe that the performance and image quality is top-notch.

Cheers
Mark

I went with the XT because I liked how it fit in my hands. It got great reviews and canon makes some fine macro lenses.
