Help!

I've installed Pixelpost and got it running, using a database that I had for
4images app. Now my 4images doesn't run, it puks with this error.

Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'ldallara_imga1@localhost' (Using password: YES) in /home/ldallara/public_html/Gallery/includes/db_mysql.php on line 39

DB Error: Could not connect to the database server (localhost, ldallara_imga1).

The question do i need 2 database ? or 2 user ID's and 2 passwd's
or can I do it with db ?

I've tryed changing my passwd in mysql to YES etc and I get the same error..

you can do with one Database and one login, as long as the table-names are different...

the password is not YES, this message just shows that the connect is done with log-in + password...

but I am not a database-specialist so I cannot help you as I don't know what you did exactly...

do you have a PHPAdmin at your server?
Can you go there?
do you see the tables of pixelpost and 4images?

check the pixelpost.php for the login-data and compare with the configuration file of 4images...

As what connie says.
check what your db files says, both the one for pixelpost as well as the one for the other script, since it's that one that fails according to the above error.

db_mysql.php

Review that file, see to it that the correct username, password and whatever is in there is correct.

Yes; I've been working with the db Admin
yes, I can see the tables for both pixelpost and 4images.
I'll look at the config files again...

I've edited the db_mysql.php, seem pretty straight foward...
I'm waiting for the Admin to varify the passwd....

Hi,
I have allmost similar problem, but not exactly. My website worked well, but about week ago I got:

Connect DB Error: Access denied for user 'paintsho_paintsh'@'localhost' (using password: YES) Cause #2

Now I upgrade to v1.6 but nothing chance. I cant go to admin page.

Is the problem in service provider server?
