First attempt at 'High Key' portrait

http://nathanelson.com/blog/index.php?showimage=40

*edit* I re-uploaded the image with a tighter crop, which was pointed out in the comments on the site, thanks for the input from everyone who takes the time to view my work.

Looks like a good first attempt, though I might suggest allowing for more of a gradient on her left side (our right side), as it drops off into nothing rather quickly.. around the hair is probably more noticeable than the shirt. Quite a nice first effort.

Thank you, I have been taking a lot of skateboard/inline/bmx pictures but didn't really feel like making an entire blog out of just those, although they are my favorite shots as well, when I eventually put up a full site I will have a section for just those.

Thumbs up very nice photo

Great portrait, and great site, too. I love your images. However I have one comment. It makes navigation unpleasant if controls move as the image size changes, you always have to chase the "next" button.
