Problems with upload image

I have this message when a upload an image

Upload went without error.

I have this info

PHP-version 4.3.9

MySQL version 3.23.58-log

GD-lib 2.0 or higher

Server software Apache

C'est un bon pays français, mais tres difficile a parle votre, uhm, language.

If your MySQL install is outdated, you need another way than the install script to install the tables. In the discussion you linked to you see what and how the tables are setup. You're on your own there, install the tables manually with phpmyadmin or any such software, if you have that installed. If not you have to do it via the hardcore commandline.

The error you're receiving - seems your images and thumbnails folders don't have the right permissions. Under the general info tab in adminpanel, you can see if the folders are writable.

Check that and see what it says, either it says the folders are writable (both must be) or it says they are not.

i know for the tables and mysql and it's ok but after when i write and upload my first image the error message appears.

And i have write permissions to the thumbnails and image folder.

Images folder
Images folder is writable, which is a good thing.
Thumbnails folder
Thumbnails folder is writable.

Trying to think what's wrong here, I fail to be honest.

One thing. Check your absolute path to the images folder, see that it's correct. You can alter this setting under the options pane, at install the script does its best to figure out the path and inserts this "guess" automatically.

Perhaps that is what's wrong?

Taken from the error message your path would be
/home/meszamis/www/test/images/
