its not FOR pixelpost though, just posting it int he forum for ref is fine i think...if you use mint, you'll more than likely come across it in their pepper section

This is awesome!!! I just installed Mint and the Pixelpost Pepper. Super cool.

I have a general question regarding Pixelpost and Mint together... Would it be appropriate to ask it here?

It is happening with my installation of Mint (as it was with my installation of ShortStat).

Once in a while the hits are counted twice. I thought it could be the .htaccess redirect I have in my root directory, but I just did a test and that was not the case.

It is curious since the installation of Mint is totally different than ShortStat. For Mint I added the <script> tag on the top of every whatever_template.html. With ShortStat, I had the @include_once in the index.php.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I think i may have found the fix... Reading the instructions more carefully i noticed this excerpt:
Quote:
For advanced users:

If you are running PHP as an Apache Module and not already using php_value auto_prepend_file and the output buffer, add the above <script> tag to the $mint variable in /pixelpost/mint/auto.mint.php and the following lines to your .htaccess file:

AddType application/x-httpd-php .html .htm
php_value auto_prepend_file /home/gpinto/fotogram.com/pixelpost/mint/auto.mint.php
You will also want to create an .htaccess file for the /pixelpost/mint/ directory with the following line:

php_value auto_prepend_file none
This prevents Mint from tracking itself automatically.
I'll keep an eye on my stats to see if that was indeed the fix.
