Encoding again
Hello guys,
I've installed my pixelpost again after some problems caused by moving to another server at same hoster. When I install pp to new db the encoding is automatically set to latin1 swedish, bit interesting at czech hoster isn't it? Pls, could someone help? Or is this again my hoster problem? I'm really confused, 'cause I've alredy installed pp at same hoster, but ANOTHER server - there were no problems. But they've turned off the default encoding because it caused some problems while exporting or emporting the db. Thanks 4 helping me ... |

tell your host you need everything to be utf-8 compatible.

Latin1 Sweedish is the default in some weird db configs (it's actually more common than you'd expect).
You should be able to change charset using your database management tool (such as phpMyAdmin, or similar).
