Change header in Pepper + hide comments form

Hi everybody!

I just downloaded the Pepper template, and I am unable to change the header. This is what i did:
- I open the template.psd file and changed the header / I saved it either in psd, html and png (I don't know what's the right format) / I uploaded the 3 files one by one to see if it changed anything and it didn't.
- I changed the header.png file too and uploaded it also in 3 different formats to be sure, and nothing worked (except header.html appeared on the page, outisde otf the frame, but still not showing my title... !!?).

So... What is the matter??? I've read all the threads concerning this question and it all seemed quite easy... I put all the files either inside or outside their original folders (image...) and no solution seemed to be working...

Then, 2nd question: how can I had the comments form? For this I have no clue.

Thanks for your help!!!

If it can help, I added this tag to show the caldendar:

<!-- please deactivate this tag if you don't use calendar in your template
-->
<div id="calendar">
<SITE_CALENDAR>
</div>
<!-- otherwise you will get a CSS-validation or HTML-validation
error -->
