It doesn't upload...!

Hey!!

First, I want to congrat you for this beautiful script... Very simple, small and efective!

But I do have a problem...
It won't upload a thing...

The tables were created successfully, I added an addon (nice sentence) and I created Categories but I still can't upload any image! I've tried it in both Firefox and ie... None.
It seems there's a timeout... Nothing happens and then 'No such page', bah, you know...

I've double checked the Options, everything seems to be working fine!

Quote:
PHP-version 4.3.8
MySQL version 4.0.20-standard

GD-lib bundled (2.0.23 compatible)

Server software Apache/1.3.31 (Unix) mod_auth_passthrough/1.8 mod_log_bytes/1.2 mod_bwlimited/1.4 PHP/4.3.8 FrontPage/5.0.2.2634a mod_ssl/2.8.18 OpenSSL/0.9.7a

EXIF Your php does not seem to be compiled with exif-enabled.

Permissions
Images folder
Images folder is writable, which is a good thing.

Thumbnails folder
Thumbnails folder is writable.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
Great project!

Reply, PLEASE!

Small and effective, but not working!

Does it just hang there and then timeouts? No errors, no nothing?
Are you trying to upload a very large image?

Sorry... It's working now! Probably it was a problem with the serv...

Thanks a lot!

By the way... Do you have any templates to distribute? I'll make some templates... Dunno if anyone wants them but do you want them to put in some 'Templates' section?
I love the template you're using... Awesome!

Keep up the awesome work!

P.S.: Yes, it IS Efficient!

Happy it's working! I love those problems that sorts themselves out

I have no time to make templates myself, I just did those two included. My plan was to provide for some more but I'm lacking a bit of time and everything I do seems to end up in the same place you know.

If you do a couple of templates I'll be happy to set up a section here for everybody to download.

Initially I thought more people would create their own templates but many are just going along with the included ones which is more a show of concept thing, but I guess they're alright. More templates to choose from would be awesome for the folks.

can't upload images

Rick,

what is your problem:

could you upload already and now you can't suddenly???

when uploading images, which error messages do you get
are the rights for the images- and thumbnail-directories ok, you can see this in the general info:

Quote:
Permissions
Images folder
Images folder not writable!
You must set correct permissions on this folder or you will not be able to upload any images.
Set the folder to chmod 777 (read, write and execute permissions for owner, group and world).

Thumbnails folder
Thumbnails folder is not writable!
You must set correct permissions on this folder or thumbnails will not work.
Set the folder to chmod 777 (read, write and execute permissions for owner, group and world).
does the image appear in the image-directory?
is the thumbnail created?

is the image there but does not appear in the photoblog?

Please be more exact, "Me too" gives no hint how to fix it

Connie

I would think that it can't move the files from the /tmp/ folder.

Can you double check that your path to images folder are correct? It needs the absolute serverpath.
