Tub Portait - This one is for real :)

I posted this image, then unposted it because I plan on using it for my portfolio work not the photoblog, then decided whatever, I will use it for both. Anyways, to help get rid of some curiousity:

Hope you enjoy.

lol...wicked yo, truly a solid image

my one gripe is on the composition, which is good, but if her arms were placed/framed to lead from the peak corners of the image right down to her face...it might give a stronger impact

id be curious to see this shot on a longer focal length, granted you would need a ladder over the tub, but a 50 or 85 might have yeilded more pop, or entirely different results with the focal point on her eyes...

but yeah, i love it

different kind of a portrait, its cool, I like it. Maybe a wider crop so you can see all of her arms and top of her head. But a great shot

it's a nice photo and lighting. Very fashion. Maybe to create more drama, there should be some asymetry. Somehow, in her eyes she looks sad.

That's a very nice photo. I agree with Danyarnos, a little more head (two "fingers" space above the head) and arms.

Can you tell us how you made this photo? What was the lightsetup? Where did you stand on?

There was no light setup, just me, standing either on the edges of the tub or in the water myself, depending on the shot, and bouncing my flash off the roof/wall to give the exposure I was looking for, slight temp. adjustment in photoshop and then just regular post processing (little blur, usm, clone, etc).

Entered this photo into a 'free study' challenge at dpchallenge.com. It placed 18th out of 514 photographers which is not to shabby.
