Is the Linux.Plupii virus a treath for pixelpost?
I have read about it on a dutch site http://tweakers.net/nieuws/39772
People who are using PostNuke, Drupal, Xoops, WordPress or TikiWiki have to update there software. The virus use the XML-RPC-implementationss.

as quote from symantec:

Quote:
# Number of infections: 0 - 49
# Number of sites: 0 - 2
# Geographical distribution: Low
# Threat containment: Easy
# Removal: Easy
I don't think you should be too worried. I can't say if pixelpost make this a threat - i think it's more of a server related weakness.

As far as I read it, it is a thread for servers

so users which run PP on their own computer which functions as a public server could be endangered

but it is not exploiting any weaknesses of PP if there were any, as far as I understand
