I just found this thread after having the same problem. It was the /index.php (in the lightwhitetwo image_template file) which was the problem. Removing the slash (so just "index.php?x=rss" at the end of that line) fixed it.

Using Firefox 1.5 and the latest pixelpost, FYI.

Dave.

i wrote that template. sorry - i don't see what you mean by the index.php inside lightwhitetwo.. there is no index.php in the template!

http://dev.jlspurling.com/pixelpost/1.5/ is the current version of that template and the rss seems to load fine. anyway... i don't know where that slash before index.php came from as it shouldn't have been there.

I didn't say there was an index.php file in lightwhitetwo

Anyway...

Neither do I, but it's all sorted now, so no worries!

Cheers,
Dave.

Try this

I've had this happen to me before (and actually again today). Check all your text AND the title AND any links in your post and REMOVE any "&" signs that you see. If you have to remove a link, then it just has to go (or shorten it). If you have any "&" signs they will break your RSS in Firefox.

Really? Is this a noted bug in Firefox?

Interesting to note anyway. Will look out for this one!

Cheers,
Dave.

this is not a noted bug.
Firefox handles errors very strict.
IE is more tolerant (which is absolutely necessary because of the huge amount of own errors, bugs etc.)

In version 1.5 the special characters like apostrophes and & will be masked more completely before they are presented in the RSS feed
