black images

Im using pixelpost 1.5.1 i believe, well the latest one you can download. I installed this addon, and it resizes the images but they come out all black, so the picture is not there its only black. Anyone else had this problem? Anyway to fix it? Here's a link to an example http://themean.dcs809.com/pixelpost/...p?showimage=23

I have all of this set properly (exactly as you and raminia have instructed), all files are accounted for and both addons appear in my admin section as being "ON"... yet, the fullsized images are not being kept... only the resized images are being created.

Also, neither of these produce anything but a link to the already existing page
HTML Code:
<a href="<FULLSIZE_LINK>">Full Size</a>
or
HTML Code:
<a href="index.php?showimage=<FULLSIZE_LINK>">Full Size</a>
No java pop-up, nothing new at all.

Your simply saying "just add <FULLSIZE_LINK> to your image_template.html" ... is not enough information.

Also, I have noticed that raminia does not even use Full size on his site and your site is a bit more elaborate with the inclusion of lightbox... so, are all of the people that are actually trying to use these two addons in combination, who are telling you that there is a problem, the ones that are wrong?

Sorry, but this seems to be one of the more important features that pixelpost has to offer. If you feel that it is not worth your time to present it any better than it has been or to resolve any problems with it then I guess that's fine.

@Innbound - Relax, step back, inhale deeply, count to ten, exhale slowly. Once you have done that send us a link to your site and a link to the zip of copy of addon file that you are using along with image_template.html

@devs - ever considered offering paid support to people who want accelerated help?

Apache/2.0.55 (Win32) PHP/5.0.5 MySQL/5.0.15-nt
It's a local install or I would gladly post a link.

The addons are 31_31_admin_autoresize_1_2 and fullsize_link.php ... both brand new copies.

Nearly 7 months of excuses for the same recurring problems, yes, I would concider that less than "accelerated help". If *Free* actually does = time of any of our lives that we have to offer to be wasted and run in circles ... then it is the testers, who control nothing but their own time, that should be paid by developers (not the other way around).

... breathing

Sorry Innbound - I refuse to help you!!

Please re-read my message on what all I had requested and then your reply.

I don't have time to waste on people like you who cannot follow simple instructions from someone who is trying to help you and then put on an holier than thou attitude :-/

I refuse to apologise for being honest, thorough and attentive... no matter how you may have *assumed* I was being. Your humour threshold must be extremely lower than average. Anyway, who ever implied or stated that you would only be 'helping' me?

None the less, I thank you for yet another excuse. Sorry that I was the one to present you with just another reason for copping out on it again.

Heh! had you been attentive you would have read that I asked for a zip of a copy of the addon file plus the template file that *you* are using...

So much for being thorough and attentive :P

From Raminia's Addon page:
Quote:
Description:
Requires Pixelpost 1.5
Resizes uploaded photo on fly. All photos after uploading are resized to a predefined size set in the Options >> Thumbnails in the admin panel. The special thing about this addon is that it preserives the EXIF data. (Thanks to Romain for the autoresize hack for 1.4.x)

in this version you can edit the admin_autoresize.php to keep the fullsize image or not. default it keeps the fullsize as fullsize_imagename.jpg

check out the line that reads:
$keepfullsizeimage = TRUE; // change it FALSE if you don't want to keep the fullsize image.
in admin_autoresize.php
Why would "Options > Thumnails" of the admin panel have anything to do with this addon?

Have I totally lost my mind or does this not quite jive with the concept?

I am 99.9% certain that this addon was not created to enhance or expand upon the creation of thumbnails. Yet Raminia mentions that the thumbnails section somehow interacts with it. Can someone explain this?

i got this to work only for uploaded individual uploads...any way to get copied folders to be resized?

also,

i got it to resize the photos, but it seems that its not leaving full sized images behind. i checked the /images/ dir and there are only the resized ones there....

i left the script default, and the value is TRUE for leave full sized images....what gives?
