i just need to make a pretty frontend for it in the admin section.
I saw that, but assumed that it only allowed changing of the Home Page to the Archives page. Now that you make me think about it, it would make sense the user could utilize something of their choosing.(?) Look forward to that one's release.

Any thoughts on a 'Random Image Generator'? If you take a look at my portfolio site, the 'Featured Image' on the Home page changes each time a visitor comes to the site....and/or with each page refresh. I'd love to have equivalent functionality available from PP.

I guess something simple like
PHP Code:
if(!isset($_GET[x]){
$x="about"// Or whatever you want as default page action to be

Should do the trick, having an Admin interface for it would be nice

E-mail to blog?

E-mail to blog would be good with auto sizing of the image, I've seen this as a addon but to have it built-in would be very attractive.

Michael.

Michael,

we want to keep the script as clear and transparent as possible.
If this exists as an addon, for sure there is no need to integrate it into the script, because installing addons is really simple!

I'd love to see a tag feature in Pixel Post. What would be really amazing is if it could pull from the image's metadata. I currently use iView Media Pro to organize and tag (they call it annotate) my photos with it and it exports the data via XMP. Wouldn't it be amazing to upload a photo and have it already tagged?

prev next for archives page

a little bit off topic, i know, i'm sorry... but what i would really love to see are "previous page" and "next page" links for the archives page! i have previously requested that little feature for the paged_archive addon... maybe you could write a hack for that addon?
connie, i think, hacking an addon is okay, isn't it?
if not, couldn't it be considered for the 1.5 final...?

I'm looking forward to the categories mod but I'll mention a couple other things I would love to see even more.

"full rez" image support. So I can post my full rez images and have them scaled to a set size automatically. Of course these images should not be available to everyone. So this goes allong with my desire for:

Logins / User profiles
That would provide a simple way to restrict users from certain categories and resolutions of images.

Thanks,

ook
