Smilies

Hi guys! I just wanted to ask if there´s a way to implement smilies in pixelpost? It would also be nice if you could be able to have clickable smilies in the admin and comments interface, similar to the wordpress structure. Anyone who knows?

Hey Joe

I just tried to install this addon... just hoping someone might know the quick answer to a prob I'm having. If I put the <SMILEY> tag into image_template, it works. If I put it into comment_template, it doesn't!

Anyone know why that would be? Is it something to do with the comment_template being used in a popup?

(see for yourselves - in the comment popup on my blog, link below, there's just a blank space under the textarea, and if you view the source, the <SMILEY> tag is still there... doh! As is the <head> tag - not replaced with the javascript etc - and yet it is on the other pages)

Any ideas? Has got me stumped, and I need sleep

Cheers,
Dave.

addons for a while weren't being activated in the comment template. upgrade to a new version of pp and this should work. probably 1.5beta will do it.

Hey thanks Joe. I just don't see a reason for it not working in the current version... it imports the comment_template.html, then "sucks in" the addons... and the code in the smilies addon should work just like the rest... I just don't see, from a pure PHP point of view, why it doesn't work. I'll look into upgrading though (although I was waiting for the offocial release of 1.5)...

Take it easy,
Dave.
