Upload?

I want to upload a picture, this would be the very first.

I enter a title, pick a category, browse for the file then hit Upload. After waiting for a minute, I get the following message:

Warning: Unable to create '/home/httpd/html//~zeusz/photoblog/images/footsteps.jpg': No such file or directory in /home/zeusz/public_html/photoblog/admin/index.php on line 443

Warning: Unable to move '/tmp/phpswchhr' to '/home/httpd/html//~zeusz/photoblog/images/footsteps.jpg' in /home/zeusz/public_html/photoblog/admin/index.php on line 443
Error

What can I do?

Well, I fixed the error, it was a shame that I didn't set the image directory properly. My mistake.

Still, the photoblog is not working. I successfully uploaded the picture, but still, http://sziget.mine.nu/~zeusz/photoblog/index.php or http://sziget.mine.nu/~zeusz/photoblog/ is an empty page.
I went back as an admin and check the image section and the thumb link was broken, and I checked it in the thumbnail directory - it is empty.... What else shall I do? Please help the lamer.

did you chmod the image- and the thumbnail-directory to 777?
please look into your admin / info for the image-path

without this information we cannot find a solution for your problems

Permissions
Images folder
Images folder is writable, which is a good thing.

Thumbnails folder
Thumbnails folder is writable.

My image folder is (according to options menu)
/home/zeusz/public_html/photoblog/images/

And if I open my midnight commander and check out my images directory, I get owner: rwx, group rwx, other rwx, and owner is zeusz, group is zeusz. The chown number or whatsitsname is 40777.
In the case of the thumbnails directory these settings and numbers are the same.

I'd give my login to anybody who could fix this or point at the problem.
Anybody?

Oh my dear, I think I found it:

one of the requirements of the server to run Pixelpost is PHP 4.3.0 or higher. MySQL 3.23.58 or higher. (see the requirements)

I now tried to look at your website, http://sziget.mine.nu/~zeusz/photoblog/index.php

nothing showing, absolute white screen

then I went to your web-root and because you have no index-file there the whole directory is readable (you should change this!!!!)!!

I saw that you have info.php and this took a long time to run but then it showed that your side runs with

PHP Version 4.1.2

MYSQL is also too outdated... 3.23.49, Pixelpost demands 3.23.58 or higher..

and that is too old... that's the reason...

do you have the chance to move to another server or to get fresher versions installed?

best whishes, Connie
