i like how 93 has a real atmosphere - what were you shooting on? some really super fast black and white? is that where you got the grain from - love how he fades.

80 has the most energy behind it which obviously suits the band well. would have been good if you could have kept the mic stand out of the one on the right though - it's an unecessary distraction and it would have been cool if you had got close and in front of it...

all in all some good photos! live music is a challenge and you did better than i would have.

Thanks Joe[y]. Yeah I used 1600 b&w film for that one. Mic stands! They are annoyances that like to ruin a perfectly good picture, but often unavoidable for shots of a whole band, or a wide view of the stage.

93's got great action to it - love the graininess and that feeling of intense energy from the blurred hand. This feels like a live shot and I like it the best even with the bass drum being a bit blurred (and that was most likely moving anyway - it just seems like something that shouldn't be moving if that makes sense...)

I like the murkiness of this one: http://www.juxprose.com/index.php?showimage=69 Great location. Where the light comes to a point on the right side - not sure about the placement at first, though it's been growing on me as I look at it more.

Oh - 93 and 85 list the band name as "heat" and "head" - unrelated to the photos, but thought I'd mention it.

Thanks for the comments jkn. Yeah, I'd rather the drum wasn't blurred, it's annoying.

Oops, haha, that's a bit of a necrophiliac celebrity Freudian slip on my part. Thanks for pointing that out!
