it's a good shot but as you said yourself it would be really good if the kite was fully in the frame. looks like a damn good sport by the way!

thanks Joe[y]. i'm not too keen on javascript, but i guess if somebody has it disabled then regular alt text will appear anyway, i assume.

Fun fun stuff throughout your site - love the comments on bees and getting close to them. I've become slightly less afraid of them after numerous times getting the camera up on them... then again - they turn ugly every so often... Spiders creep me out in a similar way - although why I keep taking photos of them I don't know... Maybe I'm nuts.

Anyway - yeah - I agree with numerous people pointing out that you framed that shot just right. The angle is great and gives it that much more of an action feel to it. Love the catching air bit - great that you caught that moment. Unfortunately you didn't get the ultimate perfect shot with the kite - but it's darn close!
