Is there an addon for max-upload images?

Is there an addon for mass upload images? just like addon mass edit category

it's slow to upload one by one.

or an addon such like this...
we upload the images to the image-folder on website first,and then use an addon to read there infomation(name,date,etc.) into database.

anyone can help?

Why would you want to mass upload? The whole reason behind uploading one at a time is to be able to specify your title and image description.

Mass uploading seems more like a photo gallery option.

I had a same kind of problem - I messed up my previous photoblog and wanted to start all over again. How can I upload 9o+ old photos, this 'Copy Folder Contents' addon just takes first 22 and thats it

..and no error message
..and 4 thumbnails where missing

so is there some kind of time limit or something else? can it be changed?
is there any possible way, to do the job quickly?

I suspect it is a server time out problem. Depending from connection speed and PC power it takes qute long to upload 90 images especially if they are large ones.
Allowed runtime for a script is given by your providers settings, so you can not change that easily.
Try to upload them in packages of 10 images, that should work

I uploaded all the pics to server and then started that addon script - so the network speed is not an issue?
maybe server has set time limits for scripts working time, otherwise it would be overflooded by users..

so I just have to create 9 directories and upload 10 pics to each of them, then activate addon nine times

Why are you asking? It's logical for easy... and for restore service after changing internet provider for instance...

Pixelpost v1.6 Addon Copy Folder Contents is not working for me.

I have the same kind of problem. It's very slow to upload one by one... and when I create my copy folder contents with prepared files, and start uploading...
I have received after 2-3 minutes only, a lot of red information and admin system crashed for 3-5 minutes:

Copied 82 files.
Thumbnails are created while coping files with this addon.
List of Errors
Failed to insert 1.jpg to db: MySQL server has gone away
Insert categories to db error: MySQL server has gone away
Failed to insert 2.jpg to db: MySQL server has gone away
Insert categories to db error: MySQL server has gone away
.... etc.

It's not working.

Why this addon don't ask one by one picture about add to database, and description etc... May be... such modification of script will be better for my MySQL server? Who can create this modification?
