time zone mod problems

I have installed the time zone mod and it seems when I put it forward to the time it should be at, the images don't show (because I have posted them ahead of the time the server is at, and pixelpost won't show images that are posted with a date that hasn't arrived yet).

so basically, if I put my timezone forward 9 hours and post an image, that image won't show up until 9 hours later.

I believe that is the whole idea of posting in the future. I do that to post 3 or 4 days worth of photo at one sitting.

yes but you don't seem to understand my problem. if I set my time forward 19 hours to make it the correct time in Sydney, Australia (to make up for the difference in my server time), if I post an image, it is not displayed until 19 hours later. in the admin control panel it says the correct time and date, and it should show up on my photoblog immediately with that time and date.

the timezone mod needs to modify index.php and not just admin/index.php.. I need them both to be put forward 19 hours, not just admin/index.php.

I hope that someone understands. I'm having difficulty explaining my problem.

hmm.. say I put my timezone ahead 19 hours with the mod, if I go to post an image it says the date is this (right now, as I speak):

2005-02-04 17:21

the image is posted with that date attached to it. BUT my index.php doesn't recognise that that date is right NOW, because it hasn't been modified with the same changes in admin/index.php.. so when the SERVER reaches 2005-02-04 17:21, the image will display. I want it to display right NOW, because right now it is 2005-02-04 17:21 where I am.

hopefully that makes it a little clearer.

Okay, next question. After installing the mod, under admin/options, did you adjust the time offset for your time zone. I just have to ask

fix to timeoffset bug

Sorry about that! The bug's now fixed and tested. You can download an update from the link below:

http://www.pixelpost.org/index.php?x...amp;details=36

Please also ensure you always backup those files that are affected in the patch (ie. the index.php files).

Thanks,

Remy.

Just to be clear, all I need to do is to add the new code that retrieves the time offset to my main index.php then import the SQL query from the .txt file? Nice addon btw.
