nested categories
I know you've just added multiple categories, but I would be interested in nested categories as well. Thoughts?
Thanks.

Please,
thanks for your suggestion there are so many whishes in the world and so many people who just throw in their whishes, but there are so few people who can devote all their time to the care, development and support so please don't demand everything from the first time, read around in the forum a little, then you will know that the next update will be bug-fix update  |

I don't think nested category is a good idea, by no means.
Even multiple category which is a very good accessory in a photoblog does not atracts me. Algthough it's a good thing, I don't use it because it needs several modifications. Think if you have to submit your photo to a photo competition, what would your selected category be if you only had a single choice? decide! I think the problem is decision making about choosing a category and nothing else!

(By nested categories, I mean having categories inside other categories.)
I didn't mean to tick anyone off; I know it would be a big addition but I just figured I'd throw it out there. I'm not saying I expect it tomorrow, or in the next month, or really at all because I know I'm at the mercy of other people who know how to do this. But I didn't think it would hurt to ask. Alternatively I could just put all the things I want in subdirectories into the same folder and find a way to display that category with thumbnails from the other categories inside it. Or just leave it as is since I don't have the skills yet. My problem is that I want pixelpost with a touch of coppermine (the categories do most of the work I need, really) and the only way to really get those things is major hacking, which I can't do as of yet. The reason I want this nesting ability is: I like to travel and I would like to be able to put all the categories for one place inside their own country category. At the same time, I want a photoblog--as I go through the pictures in the phlog, I would place each one into its category. For now, I'm just going to use 2 category specifications and leave it at that. Beyond all of this, pixelpost comes closer to what I want than anything I've found. It's an awesome program, and I am hella grateful that you make it. So, thank you!
