Lightbulb Swamp Kind of...

Whenever I have the "pleasure" of going to the local Wal-Mart, I always drive by this small little pocket off the side of the road, its a small pond kind of with a lot of dead trees sticking out of the water, its pretty eerie. I decided to stop today, but I wasnt driving, so I felt a little pressure to hurry up and rush the shot. This was the also the first day I shot using the RAW setting. Got a few shots but nothing I Was really happy with except for this one. Still not sure wether the tree on the left is a little distracting, its kidn of useless, but I tried to expose and edit it so that some detail would be visible. Right on the edge of wether I like this or not. Let me know your opinions, thoughts and suggestions.

pretty cool little swamp really, next time just take a deep breathe and think when you feel rushed though...small things, like leveling that horizon, the forground weeds, getting super low so you put all that guff into the sky so it stands out more and isnt clutter...these might take a walk around before you take that photograph though, but try and mooch a little more time for planning, even if its not enough to take a photo, find the spot, time of day, composure...and you'll know when you have your camera again

I feel that the white balance is off. I suppose with more practice, you could fix that since you shot in RAW. And horizons could be fixed in photoshop afterwards if you are rushed.
