"error: too many connections" ??

in trying to hook up to my photoblog <www.ctfoto.com/blog>, i'm receiving this note in the upper left of my screen, "error: too many connections"...

is this a PP thing, or is it something on my end?....

...i tried to access my PP Admin, and received this:

"Warning: mysql_connect(): Too many connections in /webroot/c/t/ctfot001/www/blog/includes/functions.php on line 163
Error: Too many connections"

...any clues?

there is an error in your mysql-configuration
check the manual:

good luck,

Connie

gosh.... i checked out the manual page, Connie, and frankly it's all a little beyond my technical range...

i apparently have the 'maximum connected clients' allowed... what does this mean? clients aren't viewers, no doubt...

i can't seem to connect to mySQL admin page in order to try and remedy the situation (whatever it is!).

i'm stumped!

why don't you ask your hoster?

His support is responsible for your webspace
find out how many domains are hosted on one virtual server, if so
there are many reasons for problems like these
and support people should care for that, at least you pay them for that ;=)
