DVD Slideshow

Fathers Day is coming and I was going to put together a DVD of some pictures for my dad, ive been looking for some free or low cost software that is fairly simple, that I could make slideshows with and than burn it to a DVD, thought Id check here first to see if anyone has any experience with any software. Thanks.

picasa is a wonderful piece of software.
exactly what you need to create a slideshow on cd/dvd.
you can add also some music (mp3). don't know if the music playback works on all dvd players. (it works on mine)

Use PhotoVidshow to do picture DVD slideshows

Bit late for fathers day now, but in future i found that using PhotoVidShow http://www.photo-dvd-slideshow.co.uk is one of the easiest DVD slideshow programs to use.
