Install Problems

Wow, okay, so I'm using GoDaddy as my host and Dreamweaver 8 for Mac as my FTP. I'm having two big issues:

1. I can't seem to chmod because everybody wants me to right-click, and I can't find it in Dreamweaver 8. And I couldn't find it in CuteFTP either.

2. When I try to install Pixelpost, I get the error:

Connect DB Error: Unknown MySQL Server Host 'mydatabasename' (0) Cause #2

When I try to "install" through admin, I get the following error:

Warning: mysql_connect(): Unknown MySQL Server Host 'mydatabasename' (0) in .../pixelpost/admin/install.php on line 38
Error: Unknown MySQL Server Host 'mydatabasename' (0)

(I put in the ...). Any help would be great. I called GoDaddy, and they told me the database was set up right. Any thoughts?

Unknown MySQL Server Host 'mydatabasename' <- this should be your host name not database name. It would most likely be either 'localhost' or your domain name

One fixed, Two not

I made sure that the chmod is 777, so that's not a problem anymore.

Also, I know that 'mydatabasename' SHOULD be localhost, but on GoDaddy, everything tells me it's supposed to be my db username. That's how it is in WordPress and what the tech guy at GoDaddy said. So, I'm still stumped on that part.

Ah yes, that's wonderful, but I use GoDaddy. Their user-interface isn't what we'd call user-friendly.
