if you mean is there anyway for your visitors to comment on a category as a whole. no - not currently nor is there an addon. if an addon it would need to create new fields in the database tables - this would reuire some php and mysql skills and unless there is enough demand for it you may find it tricky getting someone to write this addon for you.

you can make polls when you write new threads. sure a poll is fine but if demand is high it doesn't necessarily mean we will write the addon - we have a lot of other priorities which we struggle with enough as it is right now.
