Tag Cloud

Just curious if anyone has developed or is working on a tag cloud module/plug. Seems like it could be very useful for sites that post a lot of volume and want to allow users to search by keyword.

i have created for myself a little addon for creating tags and storing etc but right now i haven't managed to turn the display into a tag cloud. it might be above my head for now.. i'll keep trying. it's something i really want to.

yes, but this uses strictly categories, so in a sense, its not a true tag system. Categories would remaing present, but there would be an addition line in the new image section, allowing you to input custom tags, tags that have already been created/used will auto complete, its a much faster and organized system than having many many categories. Instead you would have a main category and use tags to get extremely specific.

but yes, that is a cloud you are using.

Thanks for the info guys. I think it will be a great future addition to a wonderful application.

I know that people come to my site and wat to be able to search for specific things like kitchens, nuns, or bear. Allowing for that extra bit of granularity and putting more power in the hands of the visitor will be really cool.
