RSS feed and photoblogs.org

Well photoblogs.org now requires your rss feed to work correctly as I'm sure most of us have noticed.

First things first, mine hasn't worked since day one. If you check http://www.openroadimagery.com/daily/imdex.php?x=rss you will see what I mean. How can I go about fixing this?

Second I used to have my old photoblog under a different subdomain (openroadimagery.com/the1000project) and photoblogs.org would not allow me to change that listing in the past so I have it set up as a redirect now. How can I make my rss seen from that subdomain so I can update my profile?

Thanks for your help I'm rather new at all this coding stuff.

well you just linked me to imdex.php - hehe. it's working fine in iNdex.php:

http://www.openroadimagery.com/daily/index.php?x=rss

you can use http redirect to point all traffic going to your subdomain to the new address: http://www.w3.org/QA/Tips/reback

Hehe boy did I mess that one up. Ok I'll have to check out the redirect and see if that works. As of right now when I try to update at photoblogs.org it tells me it does not detect an rss feed at all so I figured something was broken with it.

Yeah that's what I meant by broken in the first post, its always been like that and it just says there is no style associated with it. Any ideas?

your thumbnails in the RSS are linked to this directory:
http://www.openroadimagery.com/dailythumbnails/

if you click on that link you will notice that folder doesn't exist.

the rest of the thumbnails on your site are linked to:
http://www.openroadimagery.com/daily/thumbnails/

my guess is that you forgot to add the trailing slash in the admin because the "/" between daily and thumbnails is missing. log into the admin panel, click on options and under "SITE TITLE AND URL" make sure you have add a / at the end of your url.

this is how it should look: http://www.openroadimagery.com/daily/

you probably have this: http://www.openroadimagery.com/daily

the description field is coming from the main index.php file. open it up and do a search for RSS and you will find it. by default the description is something like "name of your photoblog : photoblog" - since photoblogs supports copyright tags i just added a copyright field to the index file
