the description "site name" + photoblog is coming from the PP index.php

if you look at the code in the section ##### rss ####
you can see <description>$pixelpost_site_title photoblog</description>

I have removed the "photoblog" and now it shows only the site title.
I've added an additional rss tag to the index php
<copyright>all content by XoverIP - Vernon Trent</copyright>
to show the Copyright informations when te blog is pinged/updated by photoblogs.org

perhaps the dev.team can fix that and add an additional tag and setup field in the admin section.

Hmm well I'm thinking my problem has to do with the redirect. My site does not have a terrible amount of bookmarks by people so maybe it would be in my best interest to delete the entry and start over with the correct one? Would I then lose all my personal bookmarks though?

Still haven't been able to find a solution to all this. My page doesn't show the normal RSS feed icon in the bottom right but the RSS is there and has been confirmed by others to work. I emailed the people at photoblogs.org and all they did was tag my site with "debug" and "change_url" but have not let me know of anything to do about it. Any ideas? Would it be best just to delete my profile and start over or will I run into problems creating a new one since they can't even find my RSS feed?

1. Still you dont have any info in image_template.html file about RSS feed that is why you dont see icon of that in right down corner or in address bar.

2. That is at least second time, on forum, when our user has got problems with incorrect address in photoblogs.org and when he cant do anything with it. Photoblogs.org should do something with it.

3. I see that in some thumbnail file names you have additional spaces which are not in RSS feed URL to it. Do you use some addon for thumb generation?

What would I have to add to the image template, the only thing I deleted in the past was the actual link to the rss feed. Before I did that there wasn't an icon either so I didn't think it mattered much. Maybe its a problem with the actual base template I'm using, "jasonspix" I think, before I modded it a bit.

I agree that photoblogs.org needs to do something about this but I imagine with the amount of photoblogs they have registered it would be a full time job just to stay on top of things.

I'm using an addon for thumbs called "12CropImage addon" I believe it was from an older version on pixelpost.

Maybe its time to just design a new template and start all over...

Yeah,

Feed icon is thanks to this links which you deleted. It should work fine when code is right (maybe there was problem with trailing slash in URL).

Ok its back but the thing is like before I removed it it still doesn't work. I'd like to not start over since I rather like my template as is but I'm about at that point.

I appreciate your help GeoS I'm just getting frustrated with this rss stuff that I know nothing about. I wish photoblogs.org hadn't gone to a rss feed dependant system but I'm sure there was a good reason for it.

Ok I think I figured it out, the jasonspix template is missing the autodiscovery feed for rss so I butchered it out of the lightwhitetwo template and into it and it now has autodiscover and the icon in the bottom right.

Now if I can just fix my problems with photoblogs.org everything will be great. Thanks for your help GeoS I truly do appreciate it.

Edit: Ok somehow with no knowledge of coding I managed to fix the photoblogs.org problem too and everything is updated there now.

No problem. As there are many PP users in photoblogs.org community we support authors of this site. They get the most current code and all ideas which they have we can add to PP code. I belive it will be only better in the future with photoblogs.org.
