Hi everybody, i just recently made a new design for my pixelpost photoblog, and i would really like some feedback / critique on the design.
It has been tested in FF and IE and as far as i know it should work "perfectly". http://photo.ubbedall.dk

i like it, but i dont like the nav, the cal does not tell me where i have been, and the prev and next is under the image, which took me a while to find

thanks for the quick feedback.
1. i'm not really satisfied with the nav either, its just simple html text links that kinda suck. besides they are kinda hard to see i think. 2. all links are really controlled by the css and I really don't like to see those ugly colors when you've been to a link, i dunno personally i like it better this way were the links have the same color all the time, but maybe i should consider changing this. 3. i'll try moving the prev and next over the image then ^^ |

I think the blank at the top and bottom are too much.

if you come with some toolbars in your browser on a 1024-screen, you will see a lot of empty space and the important part of the page, the image, is cut... visible only half
the problem is always to think in % instead of absolute values... I sometimes have too small content regions because I use small resolution so people with higher resolution do not have too much empty space, but that is better than vice versa.... the image must be visible on the screen... |

Yeah. I have the same problem at 1024. Must be a good inch, inch and a half of too much white space. Perhaps users at higher resolutions wouldn't notice this. Is it meant to be centered vertically?

thanks for the feedback, and sorry for the late reply! hehe.
i myself use 1280 x 1024 so i havn't really noticed that the white part might fill a lot, although i can see your point, and i'll try do something about it. and no it is not supposed to be centered vertically. |
