done :)
Okay, I implemented the carousel component as a Pixelpost Addon for my blog.
Have a look: http://jedentageinbild.de/index.php?showimage=458 How it works: You just add the tag <CAROUSEL> to your site (and some minor adjustments in the image template) and you get a carousel filled with images next and before the current post, just like your grandma used to make. You can customize the number of images to display and the number of images that can be scrolled through. Currently I am finetuning some settings/layout and testing the addon, I will post the code as soon as I am done

IMHO its a little buggy if it is this on right side of your side. When you are using FF then only by moving over arrows you can navigate through thumbs (clicking isnt working and placing mouse over arrow without moving it also doesnt move thumbs).
