Smile Itīs done!

Thanks to all.

So i made the final changes. What i did was optimizing the kerning between the letters. The automatic kerning is good, but for a logo it is necessary to optimize this.

The second thing i did was to define the position of the elements in the logo. The photo frame is positioned as described in the picture below:

The last thing i did was customizing the font a bit. The angle of the frame was not the same with the angle on the top of the letters (for example: t, i, ..).
You can see on the next pictures what i mean :-):

I did this on all letters with another angle than the frame has.

I have the logo here in vector format (ai, eps) and as graphic files (png, jpg).

So the final logo i made for pp on white an dark background is:

There are also exact definitions of the colors and the gradient, but i think it is not very interesting for the most people :-). If anyone want to know more about that just contact me at info (at) designguide.at

Best regards,
Andreas

Nice that you gave few more propositions.

In near future we must think a little about such things. I can say that the most of dev team (at least coders) like your projects so there is some chance to make it official logo

I like them both, but I prefer the white logo.

i'm sure this will end up in a vote on the forum at some point... it's obviously up to the community as a whole to decide on a new logo. keep tossing out the ideas in the meantime.

Very nice work, Sem.

I like final logo on white. But I guess you need something that can work on darker tones as well. Is that common practice?
