Addon: JBG Map v1.5 (Google Map addon)
New topic start
A couple of months ago Jon Bulava wrote the excellent JBG Map addon. The original version can be found in this thread. I made some adjustments and added some new features to this addon. As of today the complete list of changes include: Quote:
I've moved all the relevant old posts from the original thread to this new one. Please continue your discussion on this modified version here. [/end] --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Moved posts from original thread from here --------------------------------------------------------------------------- I added some more functionality. I noticed future postings were displayed on the map. Since this is something I wouldn't I changed a query: code removed, is implemented in the download This will prevent the selection of images which haven't been posted yet. Ok, I made some other adjustments, here's the total list of things I added and changed:
* Fixed the unable to save settings bug * Pictures not published yet are not shown on the map * Added an address search option in the admin section (makes it easier to place a marker for a picture) * Make all output HTML 4.0 strict compliant |

schonhose,
Great work. Thanks. Just checked it out. I have my map page showing more of a birds eye view. Do you think the it is possible to modify the code to go into the map more? Just wondering. Thanks, Y

In the meantime, I've checked your page and found that the About page is seriously broken in Firefox. |

Hi S,
Hope you feel better. As you can see from my map, I have it looking at the Atlantic Ocean, since I have images in Ireland and the US. So when you using the link you created, it will show the image point with information but at a global scale. What i am wondering is could the link you created center in the map then zoom in on the map? What are you seeing on the about page with Firefox? I am currently using firefox and it seems ok. I know the calendar is not working well, but that is something within the add on code itself. I have posted a note in the forum. Thanks, Y

Ok, I now understand what you mean. What you want is possible, open the JBGMap addon file and look for the line (somewhere around 670)
