Batch Assign Categories?

I just used the "copy folder" add-on for the first time in a while. And, as I sit here re-categorizing each photo individually, I'm curious if there's a way to assign a particular category to a set of pictures. Perhaps I'm dreaming impossible dreams, but figured it didn't hurt to ask.

Any ideas?
