Custom Thumbnails
Hello,
I was wondering if it would be possible to implement a hack to have custom thumbnails, instead of auto generated ones. How could someone go about doing this? |

Do you mean like a thumbnail that is a different size than normal?

Or do you mean custom cropping? I find it often doesn't crop my vertical photos the way I like them. I would like the ability to regenerate individual thumbnails and specify what part of the photo to use for the crop, even if it is just top, center, bottom.

well, Ramin's cropimage-thumbnailfeature, which will be part of the next version and which you can download already, can do that
there is only one disadvantage: the Javascript which is used, does not work with FireFox any javascripters around???? |

More specifically, what I mean is I need to use an image.jpg and I want the thumbnail to be thumbnailimage.jpg and use the thumb's inate width and height on the site.

but I thinkg it works with Firefox/Opera/IE
It's working on my machine and why it won't on other places? If you are eager to test it tell me and I'll provide you a link for downloading the latest beta version we are working on. It would good for us to have your test results and bug reports. Ramin
