Help! "Error. Upload went without error."

Hi.

I just installed Pixelpost - and everything looks good, but I can't get past this error when trying to upload an image. I've reviewed every post I could find on the subject - but nothing works. My General Info:

Pixelpost Version
You are running version 1.4.2 of Pixelpost. Released 18 July 2005.

GD-lib

Server software Apache/2.0.54 (Fedora)

EXIF Pixelpost is using exifer v1.5 for EXIF information.

Paths
Guessed imagepath: /var/www/html/~claudia/everyday/images/

Configured Imagepath /home/claudia/public_html/everyday/

Image Directory: OK - Can we write to the directory? YES.

Thumbnails Directory: OK - Can we write to the directory? YES.

Language Directory: OK

Addons Directory: OK

Includes Directory: OK

Templates Directory: OK

I've tried everything I can think of - any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated!!

Well first thing is first. You are running an old, insecure and buggy version of Pixelpost.

Please upgrade to the newest version of pixelpost!

This will rid you of your problems and not to mention you will now have various feature and security upgrades

ok good to know.. i did that and it seemed to upgrade fine. however - still not able to upload images with a new error message:

Error
Something's wrong in file upload!

i've seen this one posted about too - so i'll continue to look around. but any help you can offer in the meantime would be greatly appreciated! thank u...

ok - for some reason making the image path relative worked! (not sure why this makes a difference but i don't care)
