Call Categories

So if i have three different categories built into this template im hacking together, is there a way to put a link on the main page to call up just one particular category ? If this is very obvious to you programer types a apologize for my n00b-ness

as far as I can say, each category of an image is a link to this category in PP 1.4

did you mean that?
