PHP myadmin help

Hi, i'm new to phpmyadmin if anyone knows anything about it. I found this forum and figured i would ask here, sorry if it's the wrong place to ask, but here is my problem.

I've setup php, mysql and phpmyadmin on a new IIS server i just built. i open up the phpmyadmin/index.php page and get the php screen, but nothing under the server list, it jusy says 'servers' and nothing underneath. I don't know how many times i've deleted and recreated the config.inc file, tried different settings, but can't get servers to populate. do i have to do something else somewhere else to get this working instead of just typing in what i want the servers to be called? any help is very much apprecitated. Thanks.

if you are trying to export (backup) your pixelpost database, and you are running pp v1.6(beta) you can use the DBManager Addon instead.

You can get the addon from here:

It's much easier to use than phpMyAdmin
