Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I have always moderated comments.
When "Do you want to moderate comments before publishing?" is marked "No" the comments post OK. When I change that to "Yes" the comments go into moderation but I can't post them from there. I the error page "Forbidden

By any chance, is mod_security enabled on your server?

I had the same problem with mine that's hosted at TextDrive, and had to disable mod_security in the admin section only so that I could use the program there.

Thank you for your suggestion.
Exactly how does one disable mod_security.

One should probably ask their hoster since it is a server issue.

First, you need to check with your webhost and see if they recently installed/enabled mod_security on your webserver.

If mod_security is enabled on your webserver, you can turn it off for the admin section by creating an .htaccess file with a plain text editor (Notepad, etc.) and putting the following line in it:

SecFilterEngine Off

Save and upload it to the admin folder of your PP installation. Then try to publish your comments and see if it works for you again.

If mod_security is not enabled, then you need to ask your webhost if they have made any changes to the server configuration recently. Tell them the issue you are having, and see what they have to say.
