Site Vanishing

Hi all,

I've upgraded from 1.5 to 1.6 and as far as I could tell everything went fine.
Followed the instructions to the letter.
Then
Admin is perfect. All working fine.
Main site, nothing appears !!!!! At all. Just get a blank page.

Php not being my strong point I'm not sure what's wrong.
I replaced the index.php with the one from 1.5 and the site appears
If I use the one from 1.6 i get nothing.

Any ideas appreciated !

Unhappy Help! After update index.php doesn't display anything

Hi folks!

I just updated my Pixelpost 1.5 installation to the new 1.6 version.
I did follow the instructions of the /doc/upgrade.html.
Everything seemed to work fine.
I can log in to the new PP 1.6 Admin-section without any problems: http://www.addicted2pixels.de/admin but my startpage http://www.addicted2pixels.de is completely empty and reloading doesn't help either...

Any ideas?

Thx in advance,

Stefan

you can not use the index.php from 1.5 this will break more things!!

Most likely this is an addon error. Incompatible addons are known to have this. Rename the addons folder using FTP, upload the original addon folder and check if the site is working.

If it is try putting your addons back one of at the time and re-check if the site works. If it breaks, you've found the addon.

I repeat DO NOT USE THE V1.5 INDEX.PHP!!!

another quick fix could be to look for the line error_reporting(0); replace that with error_reporting(E_ALL); and let me know when you done this.

I can pin-point the error in a few seconds then.

I found that fancy_archive.php broke the site... I use it for my thumbnail archive..

Stefan, remove 35mm_eq.php from your addons directory and try again.
